Drawing My Illusion is a photographic study questioning the concept of reality in our modern times and its prospective.

Directed and shot at Alphaland studio by Emmanuel Giraud, this project has been conducted as a performance with Russian painter and actor, Aslan Tsallatti, on January 6th, 2023.
Art through the medium of painting, is a gateway for humans to realize that our five senses and our physical body is not the only point of perception for reality.
The painter starts the performance laid on the canvas and drawing his own silhouette around the edges of his own body. The painting expands as the painter projects his emotions and perceptions, creating a new reality from his own thoughts.
The photographic artwork captured from this performance, questions the origins of our perceptions and how Art can blend the frontiers of what we call reality, left in a state of illusion.
Creating is an urge from the instinct
The heart gives no difference
Between dream and reality
Erasing the limits through your hands
Creating the escape for a new World

Reality shifts within our brain
As we dwelve into the origins of Creation
The innocence transmutes into physicality
Light echoes in all the layers
...
Our soul has to express
All frontiers do fade
In the attempt of becoming the masterpiece
